ABOUT ME
Petra McGregor is an actor, writer, and model based in New York City. She graduated with a BFA in Drama from the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU, with a double minor in Creative Writing and Irish Studies. She completed her primary training at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting and advanced to study screen acting at Stonestreet Studios. She recently spent 6 months in Dublin, Ireland honing her screen acting skills at The Gaiety School and The Louis Kiely Casting School. Petra wants to make daring and thought-provoking films that inspire reflection and give voice to bold artists with something to say.
Petra is celebrating the success of her lead role in Francesca Scorcese's horror short film "Crimson Ties," which premiered at the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival. The reviews are in, and it's a bloody banger! Petra hopes to explore acting in horror and psychological thriller flicks as her career progresses. She finds that these genres create exciting opportunities to delve into the mysteries of the universe that go unacknowledged in day to day life. Petra enjoys discovering different parts of herself through multiple artistic mediums and finds that acting and writing are both fulfilling forms of self-expression. She cannot wait to continue in her pursuit of these connections now back in New York City.
